This is a picture of our job process. We have tried everything from sticker books to charts. Currently we are using cards. Everyone has 6 cards. All the kids have their own color. Do a job flip your card. If you get all your cards flipped first you are the winner. The winner of what? Well, the winner. :) I am done with stickers or treats. You just do your daily jobs because you live here and I don't want my children to grow up and be lazy. :) So I suppose I'm instilling good work ethic. . . and let's be honest a little crackin' the whip. There are times when we sit on the bed for a time out because we are having an extra hard morning and don't feel like getting the garbage cans. It happens. It's fun and hard. Pretty much every day I think to myself it would be so much easy if I just did all these little jobs myself, but what fun would that be? And. . . let's be honest. . what good would I be doing for my kiddies. So we do job cards and we work at the Watson house. :)
I love the job flip card idea. I also love this whole tiny moment thing. Jessica was telling me all about it and I think I'm going to have to join. I was a little confused by it all at first. By the way, you'll have to ask Jessica about Wife Swap. :)
