The name Wall-e has taken on a whole new meaning at our house. After months of telling the kids we would bring home a puppy we finally took the plunge. Look how cute he is . . .how could we not. Everyone at our house is just smitten as can be by this puppy. We all just love our new friend Wall-e. . .

eating 'not so clean'

Eating clean is for those who have not discovered ICE CREAM! After seeing how these little troopers wolfed down these cones, I can say there was nothing clean about the entire night. Is there any doubt why they love their dirty daddy?

I love you so much!

I tell my kids all day every day, "I love you so much!" These are their responses to me. . .
Max ~ "I love Legos so much!"Alexander ~ "huh. . .ah. . .duh. ."
Barrett ~ "I Love daddy so much!"Jacq ~ "I love water so much!"

There you have it. . .STINKERS! I guess I know where I stand. I still love them so much, but we've got to work on those responses.

The Chefs are in.

Aren't my little Chefs adorable? You don't have to answer that. Although this is the first picture in a long time that I actually have all eight eyes looking in the right direction. So maybe you do have to answer that. . .Common on, aren't they cute??!? Enough about those trouble makers. . . .We've been at it again and today we found a yummy yum recipe that we wanted to share. Found it at Picky Palate and actually borrowed this picture right off her blog. Can I do that? She likes to call her creation, "If the Easter bunny brought you too much candy." I like to call it, "QUICK! Get it out of your house before trouble starts calling!" It's a little deceiving. I thought for sure that this little treaty treat was strictly for the kids. . .after all I'm not all that into marshmallows. . .oh but oh . . .I am. I tweaked the recipe just a little. First I cut it in half. I switched the chocolate chips to Reese chips and used 8 snickers on top. Yes it is to die for. Love love love it! Did I say I LOVE it? Well I do! Here are my little lovelies enjoying our cooking experience and devouring their treaty treat. Max ended the night by saying, "Max Chef is NOW DONE, Thank you!" So Thank you and ENJOY!Extreme Toasted Marshmallow Candy Bar Rice Crispy Treats
Ingredients;
12 Cups toasted rice crispy cereal2
10.5 oz bags mini marshmallows
6 Tablespoons butter
1 Cup chocolate chips
3 Cups mini marshmallows
10 mini Twix candy bars, chopped
10 mini Snicker candy bars, chopped

1. Prepare rice crispy treats according to directions on the cereal box, I doubled recipe. Press into a 9X13 inch baking dish. It will be filled close to the top.
2. Preheat oven's broiler and position top rack in middle of oven not top (if rack is too close to the broiler, the marshmallows burn instead of slowly turning golden). Sprinkle chocolate chips over rice crispy treats. Sprinkle 3 Cups mini marshmallows over top. Broil in oven just until marshmallows start to puff and turn golden. Watch very carefully, it happens quick!
3. Remove from oven and press chopped candy bars over toasted marshmallows. Let cool for 1 hour before serving. Enjoy!!

AND I AGREE. . .ENJOY! ENJOY!

Going Gnoming!

2 down 11 to GO! AND YES we will find them. While searching the museum, I kept telling myself, "Self, be smarter than the exhibit," but these gnomes are tricky. It's not a matter of thinking like a gnome or even looking for the obvious. These little devils are like finding a needle in the haystack. So while the kiddies play . . . . .

So do their parents. . . And let me tell you we are on the hunt. . .
Tim found this little devil 4x's ago. I guess he forgot to let me in on his little secret gnome scavenger hunt.
I can't tell you how excited I was when I came across this little guy today. I literally screamed. It wasn't a quiet to myself kind of scream. It was more of a, "I caught the devil scream" so the entire museum could hear.Pretty sure that the next time we go back. . . I'll be more excited than the kids. Gotta to find the 11 remanding gnomes. I don't know how much ancient learning is going on, but we are going to be spending a lot of quality time at the museum.

I've been "WINKED!"

Love these boys and their winks. I've been getting "winked" all day every day and I L*O*V*E love it!! Each wink has it's very own special meaning and the great thing about it is. . . that the meaning changes and. . .and. . .and. . .their are only two people in the whole wide world that know the meaning of each wink. . .me and the "winker".. . .
This wink from this "winker" is saying. . ."I can't wait to go to the water park!" I don't even have to hear all about it all day long. . .I just get winked!Wink from "Winker" number 2 is saying, "Ice Scream ~ You Scream ~ We all Scream for ICE CREAM!" Wink from "Winker" number 3 is saying, "Let's go feed the ducks."
WAHHOOO! I can't wait to be "winked" all summer. It beats in their most whinny needy voices. . ."Mom, when are we going to the water park?" "Can I have ice cream yet!?" And. . ."You said we were going to feed the ducks!" Pretty sure I can live with "being winked!"
