Freedom Run

This is one of my very favorite runs. To be honest I have NOT ran consistently for years.. I got up that week and decided I was all over this race. Why not? I signed up for the 5k. {Tim actually signed me up} My goal was simple.. DO not walk. I did it and felt great!

The 4 big kids decided to run the 1 mile. Everyone did great and the kids are beyond excited about their medals. It really is all about the medals. Alexander told me the other day that one of his talents from Heavenly Father is to be a runner. That kid has got HEART. {I heart him} He just may be a runner some day.

This was our Master Chief. He is a pro at the dutch oven stuff. It was yummy yum yum food. Thanks Rick and mom!

Maxie boy.. I didn't even ask how he ended up with two plates. {He was probably finishing off someones treat} Anyway, this picture makes me laugh. He loves to match. .. green shirt with green shorts. Makes me smile! Orange is by far his favorite. .. orange shirt with orange shorts. :)

The kids were obsessed with sticks.. fire.. BUGS.. and all things dirty..

I heart Jacq's new haircut. I haven't touched it for days and it is still darling. She was as bad as the boys. She has some worm crawling all over her all night. GROSS!

I could write an entire separate post just about Lola and the water. She was in heaven. You name it and she did it. She was throwing rocks.. sitting in that freezing cold mountain water.. giggling like crazy.. I am telling you water heaven.

Balloon festival.

Love the 4th of July in Utah.. {or the 2nd} The balloon festival is such a fun family tradition. I am just in awe of the beauty of Utah. I really do love these mountains.

This balloon was one of my favorites. It's just so festive! This girl is proud to be an American!

My cute Maxie boy. I just can't tell you how much I love this kid. He is such a good boy. Pretty dang cute too!

{Melt my heart} Tim is such an amazing Dad! All our children just adore him. And so do I! Love those twinners to. Shh.. don't tell anyone but Alexander has his pants on backwards and his shirt inside out. Must have been a rough morning. :)

Beautiful Jacqualynn. This cute girl, with her new cute girl hair cut, told me the other day.. "Mom, I think I am too cute to be called Jacq. I should really be called Jacqualynn." On a side note.. She is NOT a Jackie. No way! No how!
Lo*bug. You can't tell by this picture, but this girl was in "Balloon" heaven... "Ba. ba.. ba.." pointing every directions. I tell you colorful balloon heaven.
