NO MORE! NO MORE!

If there is one thing that my kids love it is a good project. For me it most certainly involves a lot of work. Most of the time even more than work. . .patience. This castle building project was no exception.

This is a really good sign. They are so engrossed and loving their painting castle world. I was sure that this project was something I could handle.
I can handle this. I can! At least that is what I tell myself. The paint goes directly from the paintbrush onto the castle. Loving lego.com for the great idea. Even my crazy wild child was mellow. Look how meticulous he is being. "Mom, wook I so careful! I so careful wif your paints."
"Mom lets do paints every day, every day, OK mom?"Even Sissy sis was engrossed and actually "painted." Got to love a good project. Then something happened. I'm not quite sure where everything, and I mean EVERYTHING went wrong. This is were it started. . .
Then it went from Bad . . . .
to WORSE!
"OH. .. My tummy. . . not me. . . Someone else painted on my tummy.""But hey, if a little is good a lot must be better."
You know that is how their little brains work. . .if a little of something is good a lot must be better. YEP I am sure that is how they thing. That is how I think! If a little chocolate brownie with ice cream, peanut butter, and chocolate sauce is good and bigger one is even better!

She has the grin to prove it. . .We haven't seen much of this little devil. That is because he was "paintin' pictures on the floor ~ and the ceiling ~ and the walls ~ and the curtins ~ and the door." One thing is for sure, "We ain't going to paint no more!" On a totally different note. . . Check out this cute book here. I love reading it and the kids love hearing it. It is a daily favorite around our house.

Paint is not allowed in our house!!! Markers are forbidden also, and gum, and pens . . . . pretty much everything! Ava is crazy and uses everything she can on walls.. . . .You are so brave!

You are one brave momma! Don't you remember who their Aunt is! Queen of creativity and painting absolutely everywhere! They must have her blood! Although it did look like a fun start but I have a feeling a not so good ending!

It's war paint. I did it with the dirt in Moab. Scares away the enemies.

I love that they're all naked. Best way to keep paint off the clothes, for sure!

The mark of a good mama. Good for you in letting them paint. Painting is good for the kids and even though is rarely stays on the paper, it's just paint, right? That project looked like a good one for the kids!

What fun! But you haven't blogged in 10 days - are you still recovering from the painting? =)

Paints usually end up on my kids too- we use washable paint, it's a life saver. That lego castle looks like a great toy. Anything that will captivate their attention is good. That marble run looks like a great toy too- much cleaner!
