Christmas Day.

Christmas day at our house is a lounging day. . . ALL day long. We just eat and eat and eat . . ALL day long. Hang out in out PJ's . . .ALL day long. Open presents. . ALL day long. Enjoy our family . . . ALL day long. I am sure you get the picture. . . a whole lot of nothing takes place . . .ALL day long. And we LOVE it . . .ALL day long.
Jacq. This girl was loving every minute of Christmas. She took her time opening her gifts and managed to play for a minute or two before brothers were stacking her gifts pushing her to open more. This lady would have been happy with a couple of bracelets and chap stick. She got a whole bundle of chap stick and sleeps evey one of them every night. Barrett Boy. Love this boy. He is all smiles until something seems unfair. Barrett had a couple mom/dad moments loving moments. During one point in the day I saw him all by himself in the corner silently pouting. He was just sure that he didn't get as many gifts as everyone else. Really he just needed some extra mommy love and he was all smiles. Alexander. He is all smiles and doesn't hesitate to cheese it up for my camera. Don't you just love that nose crinkle? I think this kid has mini star wars figures running around in his head working overtime. Not only did he get plenty of those, which were way cool, but he got these fun Mag forms that have kept him and his siblings busy for hours. These Mag form things play star wars, castle, lego, play dough. Really the Mag forms play with everything. Sometimes Santa has to stretch his brain to find a winner. WINNER!Max just knew Santa was real when he woke up and Santa brought our family a wii with a few of his favorite games. He has been asking for a wii for over a year. This mom has been fighting it off and finally caved and let Santa drop one off. Merry Merry Christmas Christmas for Max!This cute couple was so fun to have around. It was fun watching them open their gifts to each other. They set a ten dollar limit and stuck to it. Their creativity really had to set in and it was sure fun to watch.
Auntie Nana, Grandma and Grandpa Watson made a quick stop in the morning, bringing Merry Christmas Greetings and too many presents. Thanks for everything. Sorry I missed a pic of Grandma and Grandpa Watson. I am so fired!!

These two are real troopers. After working long hours they drove down from Park City on Christmas Eve and then again on Christmas Day. Love them and their sacrifice to be with us during the holidays. Oh it's me again. LOL. . the only pic I could find of me on Christmas. I had to get some time in with my Wall-e dog. He just loves the snow and can never get enough attention. We could play with him every day and he'd want MORE!Our dad is such a good sport. Reindeer Jammies and all. I just love him more and more and more everyday! He is happy when his family is happy. Love you Timmers! Our out of town visitors. YEAH! What a treat for all of us. How much fun for us to have them with us this year.
Thank you to everyone that spent this holiday with us either by stopping by, through text, phone calls, Christmas cards, sending gifts, you get the picture and you know who you are. :) We are just so blessed to be surrounded by great friends and family. Thank you * thank you* and * Merry *Merry!

PJ Party

I heart Xmas eve. It is a party. Good food. Santa. Pickle. Talk about Baby Jesus. PJ's and Games! But of course not many pics. I did get PJ pictures. We did PJ pictures in shifts this year.

Ma Deb and Papa Rick. This is us! :)
Jen and Ross.Lyss and Jon.
And one goofy group shot.
Merry Merry!

Temple Square

We just love walking around Temple Square during the Christmas season. Totally unlike me, but I didn't have my camera out hardly at all. Bummer huh? I usually take way too many pictures. Not this time. Thought I would document this cute family. That's us! :)

Wall-e Dog!

Someone (Tim) likes to call this dog WALTER, but I am a big fan of his given name Wall-e. And just in case you are wondering it is from the movie.. . . WALL-E! Our kids are so stinkin' original. He just loves to bounce around and play in the snow. I think he was bunny in his former life. Yep that's right a bunny! I heard the other day that my puppy is getting FAT. You heard it FAT! What to do? I say maybe a little husky. We'll work on that in the spring. Everyone gets a winter layer right? One thing I I know for sure is that he is sure cute! And he kind of really belongs in our family. He doesn't play well with others. I mean look at him. He is totally hogging the two balls. Why does he need two balls?

We just love our Wall-e dog. Thought we would share a pic or five.

I heart Midway II!

We can't go to Midway and not swim like 100 times! These kids are fish! I think they gave Ma Deb quite a scare in water. They were just sure they could swim the length of the pool . . and they did. But it seemed close a couple of times.
These are their cute google shots!
Max will always cheese it up for my camera. Same with Alexander. Well. . .let's just say I've got these boys well trained! Barrett too!
Jacq was on google protest. About a month ago her dad replaced her cute pink pair with plain white. That is not working in her pinkalicious world! So she kifed her dads! The kids all time favorite move is when I catch them in the air with my camera. . . They just love jumping over and over. . . and saying, "Did you get it? Can I see. . .can I see. . ."
For some reason missed his air shot. Boy am I in trouble when he figures that out. ;)It took Barrett awhile to warm up. . . once he did he was quite the ham! This little lady was all over the pool. So here is Barrett's Deal! He was MAD! And when this boy is mad he lets everyone know it. Some guy put the bubbles on in the hot tub just as we told Barrett his dreams could come true. . NO BUBBLES! He held his grudge for a good long time. I think he glared at that guy FOREVER! At least it felt that way.
I just couldn't get him to warm up to my camera. NOPE!NO WAY!HECK NO!But once he did . . . we were golden. It just takes something else to get him out of his funk!
He even had a trick or. . .two!
Everyone left with smiles. . . .and that is saying something.

I heart Midway!

We had such a great time in Midway. The kids call this place "our vacation house!" I just love that place. . . and. . .of course these two people.

Alyssa snatched my camera. She thought Tim and I needed some sledding fun. And we did! So I showed them all what was up on the sled. . . LOL. . .
Having way too much fun. These kids seriously have NO FEAR!! Going . . Going. . GONE!!! BRRR. . . .. Crazy Aunt Lyss. . .Everyone has fun until. . . Someone eats snow. . Oh . . believe me they were both right back on that sled!Until little Miss decided NO sled for me. NOPE!! The tummy works in her world! Ma Deb is conspiring with Barrett to bomb Papa Rick with Snowballs. And don't you worry. It worked. Look at those to chuckle heads! "You better watch it mom or you're next!" I know that smirk! Aunt Jen and her totally awesome snow shoes to the rescue. We just love her. She is always prepared to rescue a kid or two!And get Alexander out of a funk!
Don't worry Him love the snow.

Merry Merry! Good thing for these kids we are just scraping the surface of our snow season. Plenty more sledding moments for everyone.
